EAST EARL – More than two dozen exhibitors will be available to offer information on programs and services for seniors at Senator Scott Martin’s (R-Lancaster) senior expo on October 13 in East Earl.
The free public event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the St. John’s Center UCC, located at 432 Reading Road.
State, county and local agencies will be on hand to provide information on a wide variety of benefits for older Pennsylvanians, including health and wellness, assistive technologies, consumer protection, income tax assistance, veterans benefits, traffic safety, utility assistance, and much more.
The event will also include free health screenings, flu shots, door prizes and light refreshments.
In addition, the senior expo will feature a food drive to benefit Northeastern Lancaster County Food Bank. Attendees are encouraged to drop off unexpired, non-perishable food items such as pasta, soup, canned foods, boxed potatoes, peanut butter and jelly, and similar items. Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, soap and other personal care items will also be accepted.
