Senator Martin Congratulates Senator Aument on New Role

HARRISBURG – PA Senator Scott Martin (R-13) issued the following statement today reacting to the news that PA Senator Ryan P. Aument (R-36) will resign his Senate seat and accept a new position with U.S. Senator-elect Dave McCormick (R-PA):

“Ryan Aument has served the citizens of the 36th Senatorial District and Lancaster County with integrity and a commitment to making our community and Commonwealth a better place.  He was an invaluable colleague and friend to many of us in the General Assembly in his dedication to that goal, and I have appreciated working with him on numerous issues over our years together to help make our communities an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I am excited to see what he brings to his new leadership position and look forward to working with him in his new capacity. I wish him all the best as he enters the next chapter of his ongoing commitment to public service.”
